Dash: GroveDB deep dive
- Context: Dash Platform shipped a Zcash-style shielded pool. I explained the database underneath it, GroveDB, for a builder audience. Dash ordered this piece in 2026, after our Orchard explainer: a follow-up commission from the same client.
- Surface: Sponsored research article on my channels (Substack and X).
- Shipped: Code walkthroughs, the hierarchy explained, and where the design trades off. First commission: Dash Orchard explainer.
- Not done: No work on Dash docs or code. Two articles, not an ongoing engagement.
- Outcome: A repeat commission. What Dash’s marketing lead says about the work.
0xramp: docs site and partner SDK
- Context: 0xramp is a non-custodial fiat-to-crypto ramp I co-build. The lead developer owns the app and most of its code; I own documentation and the partner SDK.
- Surface: Full docs site (Mintlify, docs-as-code, 2026), the partner SDK (TypeScript, v0), and integration talks with an embedded-wallet team (name withheld pending announcement).
- Shipped: docs.0xramp.app, with its 0xramp-docs repo and a full overhaul pull request. Lead engineering of the partner SDK: origin-pinned WebView bridge, golden-fixture conformance tests, sandbox, Electron and React Native examples. Engineering docs:
SPEC.md,DESIGN.md, and the partner guide. - Not done: Not the app’s lead developer.
- Outcome: Docs versioned in git and kept current from beta to V1. The SDK gives wallet teams a concrete integration surface.
Quai Starter Pack
- Context: A practical quickstart for Quai Network users and miners (2026): wallets, QUAI and QI conversion, ecosystem tools, and mining setup.
- Surface: Sponsored tutorial on my channels (Substack and X).
- Shipped: Steps I tested myself, demo videos, and honest notes on what is still rough.
- Not done: Not official Quai documentation. One guide, not a docs engagement.
- Outcome: Sponsored by Quai’s core team, who wanted a practical follow-up to the Quai deep dive.
MultiversX developer education, Brazil
- Context: A three-month volunteer ambassador pilot (March to June 2025): community-based developer and user education in a new market (devrel).
- Surface: First MultiversX meetup in Brazil (Conexao Blockchain), a Brazilian Telegram group, a Portuguese newsletter, and support inside NearX School’s MultiversX Dojo.
- Shipped: Meetup recap with video, newsletter issues, and Dojo support for 12 dev students, assisting in onboarding.
- Not done: Volunteer work, not a paid engagement.
- Outcome: The tenure recap received a public acknowledgment from MultiversX CEO Beniamin Mincu.
