# Vini B | thecoding

## About Me

Vini Barbosa (Vini B) is a technical writer, documentation engineer, developer relations partner, and security researcher with **6+ years of experience** in blockchain and web3 helping teams explain their products, build useful docs, educate developers, and navigate open-source security responsibly.

> *I’ve always been the person people ask to read the complicated game rules and product manuals and then explain them clearly. Today I do the same thing with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and developer tools.*

Vini is also an active user and contributor to OSS, with notable contributions in different ecosystems and developers communities.
In particular, he runs a NEAR validator node (`thecoding.pool.near`) with over 400K+ staked $NEAR (~$800K) and is a top 10 governance delegate on NEAR House of Stake with 300K+ veNEAR (\~\$600K) in delegated voting weight.
